This course is Suitable Healthcare Practitioners, Dental nurses, SPMU practitioners or NVQ Level 3 Beauty therapy or equivalent. If you do not hold an NVQ Level 3 or 4. alternative experiences and qualifications are also considered especially if you have experience working with needles.

Course content:

 

This is a part theory, part practical course which includes plenty of practice on live models. Groups are limited to small numbers only (usually 1 or 2)

• Understanding the effects of Botulinum Toxin 

• How is it used for Medical and Aesthetic treatments? 

• Facial A&P   

• How to reconstitute product.

• Treating the most common areas of the face: Forehead, Frown lines & Crows feet.

• Injecting techniques.

• Working with a prescriber.

• Contraindications and correcting unwanted results.

• Photography – before and after.

• Aftercare  advise.

• Business setup – Pharmacy supplies, ordering, advertising and social media.
